The MKX2 swing away auger series is efficient, dependable and no fuss manufacturing at its best.
Through innovative research and development, Westfield Augers (International) was the first auger manufacturer to create the swing away auger over 35 years ago. It was an instant hit and Westfield have continued to lead the market in swing away augers ever since.
The series is available in 10” (25.40cm), 13” (33.02cm) and 16” (40.64cm) tube diameters and lengths from 53′ (16.15m) to 125′ (38.10m) with capacity of up to 630 tonnes per hour.

MKX2 Series Features
The series features over 75 proven performance enhancements, specializing in ease-of-use and serviceability, including the following:
- Wear Edge Technology™ to extend the life of the flighting
- Durable powder coat paint to prevent rusting
- Square, one-bolt flight connections to maintain proper alignment
- Removable slip-on boot flight for quick replacement
- Six easily accessible service points for quick maintenance
- A-frame undercarriage to withstand bowing and maintain rigid alignment during heavy loads. Also provides superior support and stability in transport, positioning and operation
- Steel trussing (rather than cables) on augers 84 feet and longer to provide superior support with practically no sag under load
- Hydraulic lift standard

The practical, economical swing away auger
The MKX100 models feature internal gearboxes to ensure the maximum capacity of 163 tonnes per hour does not drop off when the auger is raised. Cleverly built with extra heavy flighting in critical grain transport points ensures the MKX100 will last the distance.
A feature model of this series is the MKX 100-36. Specifically designed for out-loading from flat bottomed silos, the large hopper on the MKX 100-36 means less spillage and includes the convenience of PTO drive. There is no other auger like it on the market.
MKX130: 13” tube diameter (33.02cm), lengths from 64′ (19.50m) up to 114’ (34.74m)
Everything you want in a big swing away auger, plus the reliability that you need.
The endurance of this auger is unmatched, not only does it have a maximum 300 tonne per hour capacity but unlike many other brands it retains capacity even when raised to full height.
The combination of the massive A Frame undercarriage (4” x 10 inch RHS) and commercial grade trussing (on the 84′, 94′, and 114′ models only) over the auger provides unparalleled auger tube support making it a more stable auger with virtually no sag under load. The low transport height and strong frame gives it greater stability when transporting and positioning over silos.
Available with the retracting extend hopper which is ideal for road trains and B doubles.
MKX160: 16” tube diameter (40.64cm), lengths from 85′ (25.90m) up to 125′ (38.10m)
The highest capacity swing away auger on the market.
This auger is large, powerful and long lasting. As the highest capacity auger on the market it is the ideal auger for commercial handlers and the largest farms.
While the auger is large the low profile swing away tube is still under 12 inches high and has 3 flights. The massive heavy duty A Frame undercarriage, combined with 3 ½ inch trussing over the full length of the auger tube provides maximum support and virtually no sag under load, ensuring a smoother and more efficient operation.
MKX160 models comes standard with a 1,000 rpm gearbox reverser.
